Once unpacked you will find the documentation to use the program. The Java interpreter, which is part of the Oracle JAVA Runtime Environment, is necessary to run the application. The distribution is a self-extracting compressed shell archive (143766 bytes for Linux, 152022 bytes for Solaris). Save it at the location where you intend to install the aocr-2.0 Utility distribution. Assuming you chose the name install.sh for it run the following command line from its location: $ chmod 755 install.sh; ./install.shAll files and directories are extracted at the location of install.sh. The current directory . needs to be part of the PATH shell search string or else the executables gdrv61, redraw and checkrule in the directory bin below the aocr-2.0 base directory need to be moved or copied to a location in the PATH search string.
